SBAC Testing
To help prepare students for the Smarter Balanced (SBAC) Field Test, they can take both the Practice and Training Tests online as many times as they want. Visit Smarter Balanced Student Portal to use the practice tests. In addition, the California Department of Education this video for middle school students.
Supporting Students in Mastering California State Standards
Your child's teacher is the best resource in finding out more about how to best support your child's learning at home. Always consult him/her first if you have concerns about your child's academic progress. Anti-Bullying Information
- The Connect Safely webpage provides tips to help students stop cyberbullying.
- The Let's Get Real video gives students the chance to tell their own stories.
- The Mix it Up Schools Program encourages students "mix it up" at lunch by sitting with a different group of students.
- The Net Smartz Cyberbullying page has information for parents to support their child.

Become a Parent Volunteer
Education is a team effort, and volunteers are a very critical part of the school team.
Please follow the steps below to join as a parent volunteer:
- Notify your Campus Administrator of your intent to volunteer.
- Complete a Live Scan (please see campus receptionist for form).
- Provide a clear TB test (results must be no older than 12 months)
- Start volunteering!
LECS and the Parent Institute for Quality Education (PIQE) have collaborated to provide our parents with the opportunity to learn how to support their child through his/her educational journey through a nine-week training program.
